Suprise with our beardie
We got a male beardie and all needed enclosure/stuff all for nothing from a very nice person in March. He has been great. His name is Dexter. And last night "he" laid about 20 eggs. Lol. All infertile thank god. I called the previous owner and she said they had no idea. He/she never did that before. Dexter is 5. Lol. So anyway what am I gonna name "her" now??
Ideas??

Re: Suprise with our beardie
LOL i was just looking at your other thread! and i posted that your beardie was possibly a lady... lol i guess i was right!!! I wish i could get another beardie but Cecil hates other beardies.. dono why... so he is a loner... but every time i see a baby beardie my heart aches... I decided if we happen to find out Harley our SAV is a girl by some chance... we will call her Joanna...dono why... just looks like a joanna... like the lizard in rescuers down under...LOL... I also have two Boston Terriers, Dragon and Delphyne... Delphyne is the name of a particular dragon in mythology... i get lots of complements on her name... though no one can remember it and they have to keep asking over and over lol...but it is a great name... or even something like Arkanian, Abraxas, Cawthorne, Chrysophylax, Cloverfield, Kiyo, Nessie, Piasa, Ryujin, Saphira, Sirrush, Smaug, Tatsu, Tintaglia, Yoshi, Yowler.. just a couple suggestions. I like weird names... My dogs like i said are dragon, delphyne and I have a boxer named Panzer. dono.. just throwing them out there...

I don't really see why getting another beardie is a problem As long as you keep them apart, which you should do anyways, they won't ever have to see each other.

Re: Suprise with our beardie
If "her" previous name was Dexter, her new name should be Deb.

Re: Suprise with our beardie
Wow lol. It's always a weird type of surprise when you get an animal that you thought was a he and find out it's a she when it drops eggs/babies. My son had a pet male rat when he was little. About 2 weeks after getting him we discovered he was a she when she had about 10 babies.
And I like Dexie as her new name.
