Jackson (Jax for short) is my 5 month old cinnamon BP. He came to me as a sort of rehab case from the breeder I got my spider and pastel female from. He was a problem feeder for the first few months for the breeder so they had to do an assist feed. During the assist feed I believe the prey may have been too big since it split the side of his neck a little bit. It wasn't bad and now that he's went through quite a few sheds its not even noticeable anymore. The breeder wasn't planning on selling him because of the laceration but I told them how my fiancé wanted a cinnamon BP really bad so we set up a deal and I got him just a few weeks before our 1 year anniversary. When I got him he was eating live mouse fuzzies twice a week and weighed in at 80 grams. He's now up 225 grams and pounding back 2 f/t weaned rats a week. He eats on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Here's some progression pics.
A few days after I got him
A pic from a week ago
Just some more for fun

Re: Profile: Jax
Thanks Swany. He's been a great little rehab case and has quickly become the favorite. He is like a night and day difference in size now. I looked in his tub the other day and found out that he finally out grew his hide. When I looked in there he was coiled underneath the hide but since he's too big his coils were popping out every side and the hide was basically just sitting on him. I wish I would have got a pic of that it was funny looking. He does have a new hide on the way though.

Re: Profile: Jax
Thanks Alessia. I must admit this boy isn't even really my snake he's my fiancés and she adores him. She wasn't too happy with me at first that I got her a snake for our anniversary but when I explained to her I did it because he would be around 20+ years and we would always be able to look at him and remember our first year together. She understood after that although she gets angry because he won't eat when she tries to feed him but I can grab the tongs from her and he will take it right away. He's very picky about how you do the zombie rat dance and if its not just right he will just stare at the rat like its on crack lol.

Re: Profile: Jax
My baby was the same Nismo. I've started heating the prey with a hairdryer and she hits it real quick. Even before I can start the dance lol

Re: Profile: Jax
I do that too and that does get him to take it a little quicker but it really all comes down to the dance. Although since I've been breeding my own rats I've just been offering mostly fresh killed and he takes that right away no hesitation.

Re: Profile: Jax
Good good. He will take anything really as long as you know how to do his special dance. I haven't had him skip a meal since the first try here *knocks on wood*
