Profile: My Mick and Sheila ;)
Yup I to have a "Mick"Dundee and a fiesty little "Sheila"
First up is Mick. He has a perfect temperment and loves to clumb from person to person. He is about 5.5 ft long.
Next is Sheila. She was a bit of a rescue. She was in a small exoterra tank that was only about twice the size of her hide she has now with no substrate. She was fed enough but never handled and so she is flighty and hisses with a closed mouth when handled. She is getting way better and never looks like she is going to strike but she can be a handful seeing as carpets are already a handful without being afraid. She is great to have. We love her pattern and she is a solid 7 ft long.
Thanks for looking!!! Eventualy these two will breed I hope but they are still quarentined for a while. Thus the aquariums.

Great pics! What a nice pair of carpets. Looks like your son is enjoying them too Also, I really like the wall on your fireplace that has those shelves coming out of it

They're both great looking snakes and I'm still Ooohing and Aaahing over the size of the female, lol. Love how dark the male is, too

Re: Profile: My Mick and Sheila ;)
Thanks all. My son in the pics is my youngest of 3.
He is one of those special people that all animals trust.
Even a lost cat has come to him from under a bush.
Not everyone who has this natural relation with animals grows up to work with them but I think he might. He knows everything about all if our animals and understands their behavior.
Very cool for only 10.
The fire place is in our basement. We still burn old fashioned wood in it (95% of people here have gas) we love the smell and sound of wood.

Great pics and snakes. And son too. It's cool that a kid so young has such interest in animals.

Sheila out for some playtime
Shes a big girl but calming nicely. More docile day by day.

Re: Profile: My Mick and Sheila ;)
Just another nice pic of Mick. He is such a nice, curious, busy but manageable carpet and he loves to be handled. He is on my oldest son who just can't get enough of him.
