is this snake worth it?
I can pick up a 7 foot bredli carpet python. He is asking 100 bucks for her but one eye is kinda wonkey. It is larger with a brown ring around the pupil. Also her head " woobles" I assume he means wobbles.( he is French) here is a pic. She is apparently a good breeder.

Re: is this snake worth it?
If you plan on breeding I dunno, but if you want her for a pet there's no such thing as worth it.

Re: is this snake worth it?
Ah but there is such a thing as worth it! Why get a pet that you may have to put down once you have become attached? I am not worried about the money ( I'll just print some more) but I know nothing about cp. I saw the pi. And loved it! Almost drove 4 hours one way for it. But the head wobble and the unknown age kinda bother me. I don't need a diseased snake in my collection. I just got an atb that brought me mites. He hasn't had it long and 100 seems cheap to me for a healthy cp.

Oh, I thought by worth it you meant money wise.

Re: is this snake worth it?
Yeah i was joking about the money. I can't throw away a hondo. I am more worried aboutt the diseases or my son getting attached. He is a high functioning autistic child and he doesn't forget our pet ( he is asking for pets we had a year ago.

Re: is this snake worth it?
Well, I may be wrong but I think you should get it if you want it. I highly doubt an eye injury is going to directly kill. There's Tiger snakes in Tasmania and some are completely blind (from gulls pecking them out) and they do just fine

Re: is this snake worth it?
head wobbles are usually a sign of a neurological issue
would need to see a close up picture of the bredl's eye to comment
carpet pythons heads should not wobble mate
cheers shaun

Re: is this snake worth it?
My worries exactly Shaun! After reading about the sick rosy I am kinda sketched out. I will get a pic of the eye and post it.
