Xenopeltis are so cool. Years and years ago I had a buddy who had one and it was just so awesome to see and handle. I'm glad to see they're starting to pop-up more often these days

did i read somewhere you saying.....
if you want to keep a box of warm mud,then these are the guys for you  
was it these guys you were joking about mate ?
beautifull and unusuall looking snakes,they are not all that common here are they ?

After doing a small bit of research on these, it seems they're kinda hard to keep in captivity due to stressing easily and improper husbandry and almost impossible to breed in captivity. Is this somewhat old info or pretty up to date?
They're certainly very pretty and unusual animal, but how easy/hard are they to truly maintain?
