bad shed

so for the first time since we have had our sand boa it has had a bad shed and its stuck on its head... Do I soak it? might be a dumb question but Im scared I would drown the poor guy cause they arent like most snakes.

You can take a towel and soak it in some warm water and then gently rub the towel over the snakes head and it should help loosen the skin.

Rosys are sensitive to moisture and I wouldn't recommend soaking, they may get a RI from it. Do the towel method or a little mineral oil on a Q-tip works well just don't slather it especially of the nostrils.
