Kaybe photos: October theme

Normally he's really good and lets me pose him and doesn't move at all. Today, though, of course since I was SO excited about taking these photos, he was ALL OVER THE PLACE. He was impossible *sigh*. He was way more interested in exploring than sitting still for a photo. I eventually got frustrated and let him go back to his enclosure. I didn't want to bother him too much. We'll try to get some other ones soon when he feels more up to it. Pika (my albino ball python) will have his turn some time this week; He just ate last night, so I'm letting him digest. Anyway, here are some photos for your pleasure viewing:

Re: Kaybe photos: October theme

He's starting to look like he's going into shed, so his colors aren't that great. But here are some pumpkin photos. He's such a patient snake... He literally lets me position him how I want him and he stays put. I think he's gotten used to "photo shoots" over the years, and that the less he moves the faster they're over with

And here's a photo that shows that little piece by his eye that I mentioned in another thread. I'm hoping it'll come off when he sheds...

Re: Kaybe photos: October theme

I don't get the theme.. does it have to be "spooky" or can it be just october-ey? Is pumpkins and autumn leaves enough, or do i need a grave stone in there somewhere??

We started out with "spooky pictures" but no one entered, so I just "ripped off" the thamnophis theme of fall colours.
