Little questions :)

My gecko shed for the first time here a couple of days ago and all seems to have gone well. I didn't see it and there were no leftovers but she looks great. The only thing is that on one of her paws she has a little bit of skin left on the tips of two of her toes. How do I help her get rid of it? Or will she manage to get it off on her own?

Also, another little feeding question. How many waxworms a week is sparingly? So far I've been giving her 1 every 2-3 days with her regular 5-7 mealworms. Is this ok?

Thanks

Pixie

You can do a couple things. A warm soak in water about 95 degrees will help get the extra shed off. Or you can use a q-tip dipped in warm water. Never pull the shed off with your fingers. Does she have a moisture hide?

That amount of waxworms is fine. Just feed it after she's eaten the mealworms so that she does not get picky to just the waxworms.
