Im confusedd!

Ok, so on wednesday last week i went to give Nesta her weekly feeding and she refused. She'd headbutt the rat but never really seemed intent on eating it. Upon closer inspection, i noticed her eyes were blue and became less concerned about her lack of appetite. However, since friday night she has been in her warm side hide, and as far as i can tell, has not shed. I tried feeding again saturday to no avail. She hasn't moved at all. At first i figured it was just part of her shed process, but now that it's approaching a week im beginning to get nervous so i came here to seek reassurance and advice. Has anyone experienced this or know about it? Please shed some lightt.

Thanks, Bryan

Re: Im confusedd!

Literally five minutes after i started the last thread, i went into my room and found a nice long snake skin in Nesta's viv I knew she was in shed and just lost confidence in my knowledge/instinct. Thanks for all the advice that im sure was about to pour my way. Im real happy. She's happy and healthy and growing

Re: Im confusedd!

Snakes can go a long time without food, and some snakes never eat while in blue while some don't mind at all.
Glad shes healthy.

Re: Im confusedd!

somtime it takes a week or so after their eyes clear up before they actually shed, some time much less, but its all normal.
