Has anyone ever been left anything in the snake shed?

Hiya all, Ive just taken th shedding sking out of me female carpet pythons viv and she left me a whole load of faeces in the bottom of the shedded skin??? Is this normal??? Has anyone elses snake ever done this????

It's normal. Almost all my snakes have do it at least once. My Borneo does it every time.

My corns have done that a couple times. It makes for easy cleanup

Happens quite often yep, specially to those that want to save them LOL
They go from being fairly dormant while in shed to being very active while shedding & that activity tends to get things moving so to speak, Mark

Our GTP both pooped and shed in the same night (i say night - the four hours when i am laid in bed). Thankfully tho the poop wasn't inside the shed!

Never been left anything in the shed, but definitely got a surprise the other day checking baby female coastal. She had she her whole skin "condom style" in the water bowel. I went to the trash and before I let it go I had to ring it out. It absorbed as much as a sponge!!! Weird, they definitely keep us on our toes…

a few of my carpets do this.it makes for easy cleaning so long may it continue
