nice GTPs, but get rid of those tanks and put those beauties in some proper caging.

I second what Julian said. Your snakes are very beautiful though.

sigh....i know, those cages are a sore point with me,but i have tried to commision a few people to build me better and proper cages but everyone of them have fallen down and stubbed their little toes....now pass the relish!

psroper is not the term...more pleasing to the eye would be more appropriate...cuz if they weren't 'proper' than why oh why do i keep getting babies every year?? just asking.

hehe no no, proper is the word i was looking for. you know snakes will successfully breed and produce eggs under your bed if they had too.

hey man where you at in Toronto?? you expecting any green tree hatchlings soon or what?

i sure hope you don't mean chondro breeding, all the 'recipe' snakes out there yes but not chondros...they have reduced some of the 'big named' breeders to tears as they blurt out...'why won't they produce? i can produce ball pythons and cornsnakes!'

ps:Pass the relish

Awwwww! I just absolutely adore baby chondros! They are such cute, feisty little things. Those crosshair eyes and those little heat pits and the heads that look too large for the tiny slender little necks- soooo adorable!
I really hope to one day breed my pair, but I want my girl to get a bit bigger and I want to read more on breeding them before I attempt it.
You really do have some beautiful chondros- I absolutely love the high blue one in the top breeding picture...what line is that?

Re: chondros from 10/05

Yeah, GTPs are great snakes. Absolutely one of my favorites. I have been fortunate in that both mine are fairly tame, and honestly it isn't all that hard to find tame GTPs. You do need a good amount of experience before you tackle them though; they have high humidity requirements but are susceptible to RI if kept damp, and they need slightly cooler temps than a BP but again not much cooler or you'll get them sick. They're work, but definitely worth it. Absolutely stunning animals and nothing is cooler than holding one and seeing that awesome face looking at you!
