my male leo has tail sezures

self explanatory really. his tail "freaks out" and shakes all around. it looks like it annoys him but then it stops...
iv had him (mack sno) for a couple months and iv seen it happen twice any idea what is happening?

Can you tell us a little about his cage setup and husbandry, especially feeding and supplements? Do you dust feeders with calcium + D3?
I've seen leos wiggle their tails before..I assume to attract prey or distract predators..sort of twitchy. I don't own a leopard gecko so I am not totally familiar with behaviours like that.
