my female bearded dragon starded digging in her cage the other day. i knew she was gravid but i dont know how long she has been. (i got her last week) so i put her into a tub of vermilculite. that was 2 days ago. she dug herself a hole and shes been in there ever sence. i dont want to pull her out but how long should i let her lay there without digging her up?
she came out this morning. she is still fat with eggs. she drank some water and she is currently eating. so i guess it might be a few more days. i will let you guys know how everything works out
Most people I've talked to recommend using dirt or ecoearth for the lay box substrate. Vermiculite for the incubation medium. Do you have her in a separate container to lay or is her box in her tank? Can you see/feel the eggs in her belly?
