I am not new to snakes but am new to the prospect of sexing. I have seen it dome many times(gently massaging from the tail to the anal region and seeing what comes out). Any helpful hints. I have been calling my BP her but would like to be sure due to the fact that I got "her" secondhand?

Sexing requires an experienced person to start off & can be done by either by manually "popping" a males hemipenes as you have suggested or by probing. Best bet is to find someone who knows waht they are doing & get them to do it for you & teach you how. Mark
