Were have all the good guys gone?

And ladies of course too! Why is everyone switching to another site? I see that reptile rescue is shut down now, and hate to see ssnakess go too. this is a great site as well and hope that everyone doesn't forget it too. But if this keeps up I can only yawn so many times too. So if you are out there and reading this makes some noise cause I feel both of the top sites can trive as a knowledgeable ground for all types of herps.

i am still around very rarely but to be very honest I choose not to post even on topics i know very well and can offer help for the fact that it seems the last few straglers around here are pretty ruthless in throwing flames. it seems like other herp. sities are gaining popularity like this place used to.But after the mass exodus from here the only thing that will save this site is if someone up in admin remembers they have it.if they dont try to fix it up why not sell it to someone who will??of course this type of thread has been made many times over so it seems its all a moot point.and mabye another reason this site doesnt gain popularity is all the ssnakess.com bashing on other sites from very disgruntled ex-members.I was also very unpset to see allthings aquatic go down to.anyone know what shane is up to these days?he was the type of guy who really cared about his site.jeff was also like that and that is why this site was huge.so huge it was sold to someone who thought it was only going to get bigger.but if you dont water plants they will not grow.same thing here.but anyold memebers or mods do you know what tracy is up to?and i mean the old mod,live in ottawa and have a bunch of chams tracy?or even shane?

everyones gone man.. this site has gone to crap.. its kinda sad when the only one who cares is dragondrop.. which is still doin one hell of a job.. i come here like once a week now only to find one page.. my suggestion.. if the admin dont care why should we.. just go elsewhere... reptiles canada is what this site used to be. but better.. not as many flare ups.. great site all in all.... check it out.. all the old guys are there.

I still check out the forums on a rare occasion but I never find anything terribly interesting to post on, and I belong to too many active forums, to sit on this one where I no longer no anyone. SsnakesS was my favorite forum at one point, but being basicly Canadian based I never got to meet many people I talked to which is why I swithced to American forums

As you can see from my posts, I used to be a heavy visitor here but in the last few years, this site just doesn't get the traffic anymore, for whatever reason, (and there are a few). Most herpers who were once here are now "there". Evolution. This site was once great. Hasn't been for a LONG time.

I know what you all mean. I don't post much but have been an active reader. I did finally decide to post here a couple of days ago and it has just up and disappeared. I am looking for an old friend I met on this forum but lost touch with after a computer crash.Instead of helping me,some good reader decided to use it to drag her name through the mud once again(without having all the facts)I pointed this fact out and my thread totally disappeared. What the h*ll,was it moved or what? Will this disappear now also?

what site is every one on now? i just made a new account on here and i used to be on this site 24/7 and i see no one on this website anymore im lost :monkey:
