Problem or Prosper?

This is strange I'm not sure how to handle this situation but I'll explain, one day I was cleaning my geckos' cage when in the humidity cage I took out the pipe thats the stairs for my leos to get out easier and then I noticed under it were what I thought were mites and I must admit I totally freaked out but when I took a closer look they were baby crickets! What should I do with them? Should I keep them or dispose them? Maybe I can leave them be and take them out when they're big enough and move them to their cricket cage. I'm not sure any ideas?

What kind of gecko do you have? If the gecko is small enough it will eat them, but if its a larger gecko I would just dump them in with the other crickets and wait for them to get bigger. I have to admit this is pretty cool, I have never heard of this happening! LOL.

No effents but I mention in there that they were leos ( leopard geckos ) i'm very happy but I'm nervous at the same time I don't wanna make this life threatning just a plus.

They will be fine. Leopard geckos are not the type of animal that will be affected by having a surplus amount of baby crickets in their enclosure. How long did you have the adult crickets in their cage before they had babies? It’s best only to feed them only what they will eat over night, especially when you have multiple geckos in one cage. This way you can see who eats what, and you can tell if one is not eating before they start to loose weight. I like to stay proactive rather than reactive

What I think happend was that they got under this rock in they're cage that I use as a basking rock for the sun and a stairway to they're humidity cage so its ageled up so i picked up the rock and there was some under so I filled it up and things should be normal but I must admit I wish I didn't do that it was so easy I didn't have to do anything except move them. Maybe it will be just the same and I won't need to go to the pet store and spend about $300 a year on crickets and in the end everyone wins! Thanks for your help Jorden

lol, that happens at my friends house all the time in his tanks. He has 6 bearded dragons and 5 leos, and the female crickets imediatly get to work laying eggs as soon as they are dropped in, so he always has hundreds of pinheads running arround his tanks. He just leaves them in and they get trampled by the lizards.

lol thanks okapi and jordan for your help what I'm gonna do is move some over from the humidity cage to a jar with the same bedding and a lot of food and leave the rest for tommorow to take out so everything will be kept to a minimum.
