A Few Questions On Lightning/Heating Etc.

I currently have a 48" (4x1x2ft) Vivarium. Which I was hoping would be for a bearded dragon. The Moment has passed, And I cant get my hands on one. Im thinking of getting to Leopard Geckos to start of with (Yes I know, Not to put to males together)

Im In Scotland, Not the States. As Most of you are. So The Products I Might say might not have any Meaning to you. But I would think Exo-terra Is World wide.

Anyway, I Have a 48" Viv, With a 36" Repti Glo 8.0. Does this need to be on at all for the Leopard gecko? if so, 12 Hours? I Have the "T Rex Active UV Heat 100w Spot" (http://www.faunology.co.uk/shop/prod...cat=259&page=1) Im Geussing this is not suitable. As it will be to powerful. So I have looked around, And have thought about this light for the Leo's:

http://www.faunology.co.uk/shop/prod...cat=259&page=1 (Exo Terra Day Glo Basking Spot 75w) Is This suitable. And This would be connected to a Dimming Thermostat, Correct? For 12 Hours. If I am having trouble with my lights and heat. Could you please point in the right direction with some products you use. And Also with that light, Do I need a heat mat too on the same side? Or would this be too hot. Do I just need either one. What one do you recommend?

Also Is This Light suitable for a heat Lamp for Leopard Geckos? (http://www.faunology.co.uk/shop/prod...cat=259&page=3

Ok, I Have just read a topic on this forum saying that all the Leo Needs is Under Floor Heating. Is This True. So All I really need is a Heat Mat? Typical. I just spent like 70+ On lights etc.But Yeah, Please answer the questions anyway. Thank you.

Sorry for so many questions. If you dont understand any of my questions, Feel free to pm or ask me below. Thank you for your time, Scott
