Question made decesion still need help

I have made my decesion and have decided to get a Ball Python. I am thinking of getting it from a petstore for about 50 dollars, or if i wait a few weeks/months i could get captive bred new borns for about 20 each(by the way the ones that cost 50 are captive bred just a bit bigger) Does anyone have any advice for a first time ball python owner (by the way ive had other snakes so im not completly new to the world of snakes) any information would be appreciated.

Read up on them as much as possible. Thats the best thing you can do. Other than that, you should be good. By the way, 50 bucks for a ball python is a good deal.

my advice to you would be, dont buy it from a pet store unless you know the owner personally. the best place to buy any reptile, IMO, is a reptile show/expo. you can buy extremely heathly reptiles from the people that bred them and get any information you may need on the animal. you also usually get them for half the price of a pet store. good luck
