Since it doesn't look like anyones going to respond right away, I guess I will. Bathing them doesn't cause constapation, it's the other way around. If they're put in luke warm water it encourages them to go to the bathroom. Try that first. If that doesn't work try feeding it food items with lots of fibre (ie: banana), it should help loosen the stool and allow it to pass. If it looks like your beardy is in some discomfort for an extended period of time, I'd recommend taking him/her to a vet and let them assess it.

also if you feed the exact same food every day that will also cause it, with my beardies all i do is stick them for a bath and 9 out of 10 times they go.

Hey tortsrme want to sell or trade your russians??????? PLEASE!!!! Im in Sarnia..... lets make a deal

How big is the beardie???? If you keep it on real sand and they ingested it, it should pass as long as you do have proper temps day and especially at night... if its too cold the half digested sand could calcifi and harden in your lizards stomach and its very bad, impaction...... place him/her in warm water, say like 85F shouldnt be a problem and it should pass... but it wont if its sand and not the proper temps...... check them.... hottest spot during the day should be 100F during the day with the cool side being no lower than 80F so the lizard can thermoregulate and at night.... 88F on the hot side with the cooler side being no lower than room temp 74F than the lizard can pick and choose where it would like to be...... with that said i dont know your setup so..... but just place your lizard in a warm bath and it will relieve itself, unless its impaction, I hope i helped you out...

Sorry Al, I have a small, well established colony of russians that will breed for sure next year therefore they're keepers. Are you looking for a single russian or an entire colony? I can help you out on single russians but not a colony. Feel free to email me...(andrewholden14@hotmail.com) and we can talk more.
