It's unfortunate that there are so many stories like this in our hobby. I have been trying to pm a member about a snake he has for sale for 3 days with no reply. You would think someone who takes the time to place an ad would take the 30 seconds to respond to a potential buyer! This is a fantastic hobby but when you have to deal with some of the jerks out there, it starts to get very discouraging. Just my 2 cents, Ron.

Sorry to hear that but you should have looked closer at the animals you were trading for before making the deal, If any of them were sick then you probably would have noticed then. Although I feel sorry for you, I can understand why the other guy is saying it's not his problem because it was a fair trade and it's not his fault that one of them died even if it was a day after, it could have been the move.

I understand what you are saying but the guy was rushing me and it was not til i started drivng home that the snake started to foam at the mouth and the next morning died. And when you trade or buy a animal from me and it dies within 7 days (like everyone eles) i would definitly replace it. I mean unless you can see that clearly someone eles did something it the animal, but come on 24 hours.

I totally understand your point, and given the situation I would probably feel the same. But that being said I know 100% that I wouldn't let anyone rush me or try and pull a fast one when it came to checking out an animal I was intested in. Just the simple fact that you felt like he was rushing you would have made me check those suckers out with Xray eyes. But again I totally feel sorry for and wish you better luck in the future. Now you know that when next time comes you make sure you know what your getting.

In reguards to any health, feeding guarrantees etc. they should be all discussed & agreed apon prior purchase or trade & better yet in writing. All sales are considered AS IS unless stated otherwise either verbally or in writing. I do agree though that it should have been replaced or you should have been compenstated in some way. Sounds like there was a third party involved as well & if his buddy is saying too bad its not like he is helping out with the stock he passed on either. Another good reason not to deal in stock you didn't produce yourself. On another note I have had people kill their snakes within 24 hours due to their own negligence & have not compensated them in any way. One must ask lots of Qs in reguards to all these things. basically its Buyer Beware more often than not, Mark

What do you mean he had to pay a big vet bill, so he admits that the animal was sick? thats not right at all if thats what you mean.
