Unhappy screen tank:keep heat

i am building a custom tank 3 1/2 feet long and 3 foot tall in screen i have it all built except for roof and side door. i wantd to know if screen would keep heat HELP!!!!!!

No, it sure wouldn't. It would be really bad for keeping humidity in as well.

Some type of wood would definately work better or glass.

A screen top would be ok, but screen sides would be impossible to keep in heat. Glass or wood would make a much better choice for the sides of the enclosure. With screen walls you also run a higher risk of your animals getting nose rubs.
