Talking New snake, New species!!!!

I'm so freaking excited today!!!!

Today was the first time i had enough animals to get a table at a local reptile show. I took in 10 amel corn snakes and sold all of them. I was hoping for some beardies to sell but that didn't happen.

At the last show and this one i have been wiping drool from my chin everytime i seen a kenya sand boa. So as a "prize" for me selling all my corns i finally got one. It was the last one they had and it is a 3 month old female (now i just have to find a male).

I'm so excited as this is my first boa and a new species i can add to my list. Now it's time to find a suitable name for this little girl, hopefully one will come to me soon.

Thanks for reading,

Jamie

Congrats on the new adition and the big sale!
Amels are my favorite corns. I have 3 of them.
I also have a 1.1 kenyons and a 0.1 saharan sand boa. Can't find a saharan male though as I seem to be the only one with a Saharan in Canada. Aparently she was shipped in by mistake and I actually bought her as a kenyon and didn't realize she wasn't till I got her home and really checked her out. My good fortune but bad at the same time. lol.
Anyway, back to the kenyons. They are great! I can't wait till my little girl is old enough to breed. Still have a wait though. But my male is full grown and waiting on her. The Kenyons are my daughter's favorite species of snake. The male I have is actually hers, but I do all the feeding and care as she is only 10 and this little bugger is a pain when it comes to eating. My female however chows down on anything that moves!
I'm sure you will have a great experience with your new little girl. Ours are named Samuel and Hilda.

Very addicting, but well worth it. I love my babies.
