This post pertains to my wc black rat, see previous post for details.
My Black rat "twitches" when I touch her sometimes. More so if I run my finger along her back or sides. It is kind of a jerky kind of movement.
Any one know what this means, what causes it or if I should worry?
it's not a big deal. some of my ratsnakes do that and i dont really know why. my theory is that they think of a light touch as a fly or parasite or something, and they try to rid themselves of it by twitching, like horses do.
