Yes!! My male has eaten his first rat!!

Hi Guys.

My male has eaten his first rat I whas trying and trying but nothing realy work.Until this week.
I noticed every time i was feeding him a mice he was going
into some kind of feeding mode.So this week i gave him a mice
and right after he workt the mice down i placed the rat in his cage
and wham he striked rightaway.

Does this mean he will take a rat the next time??

I also have built some new cages for my Bp.Everyting is perfect now the temp and humidity.One hide is 92F and the other hide is 80F.The temp in the cages itself is 76F is this oke??

the cage should be 83-84 during the day. 76 whould be okay for a night time drop only

Those cages are built really nice! they look great, what are you using to heat them?

My Ambiant air temp always tends to be around high 70's but the temps in the hot spot are 95 and in the other end at ground level are 82 in the cooler end. I generally ignore ambiant temps.

sc00t I use 2 heatpads for each cage. they are both under the hides.One hide is 92F and the other hide is 80/81F
And the Ambiant air temp is around 76F.

Congrats on the rat feed. Just only offer him rats. He will take them when he is hungry enough

You Know how kids are?.It's allways dad may i hold one People always ask me is he not scared of the snakes.
Infact he loves all animals.We have dogs birds mice rats rabbits
you name it we got it
