new red tail

I just bought a new red tail...its about 4 months and isnt very happy about being touched....Whats my best way to start the taming process...I also have a rainbow and he was a dream to tame...Not like this one at all

The snake should have a while to adhust to his new surrondings . I would suggest to leave him alone for the first 10 to 14 days .After that then start the handling the snake daily . As babies they can be fairly nippy and flighty this usually passes with age . Good luck .
