I've had her for a few years, and I usually keep her on newspapers for ease of cleaning and safety. I used the concoction in the book -the art of snake keeping- by vosjoli. I guess its pretty hard to keep the humidity up here in LA when there isnt any depth to the substrate to keep moisture in. Next time I mix it, I'm going to use a little less clay, and a little more peat moss. I guess its the kind of thing you have to work at to get the right consistency. I don't like the way the clay makes the substrate clump when I water it. I posted a pic of it when I fist made it on the enclosures forum...
