Question I Think Shes Ready To Breed(pics)

What do you think?Shes 57 Grams,a few months over a year old,and when she was 26 grams(way back) she laid 2 infertile eggs,i think she could be a pretty good breeder i have to find her a nice male tremper though (which is pretty rare around here) im gonna read about alot more though before i decide to get her a mate,im going to wait though till i buy my beardie his 55 gallon then ill have his 25 gallon to spare room in my single leos 27 gallon long and a ten gallon and five gallon to spare,so should i breed heres pics of her(Btw theres sand in her tank, but she doesnt eat in it and its only half sand i have tiles for the other half which the bowls are on and etc,the tiles are kinda slippery, and she slipped quite a bit n didnt move around alot but since i added the sand for grip shes move active,I only feed her crickets in a dif tank+i may be getting the vibrating exo-terra food dish so i dont have to buy live crix no more):

The light combined with my crappy cam screwed this pic up:

Looked like she was posing here:

This is the closest to her real colour her bands are more purple then pink:

Think Shes ready to start a family?

Yea IMO she looks large enough. Tail looks nice and fat too.

I would recommend getting rid of sand tho. I do not trust sand of any amount. As for tiles, buy some raw slate. Either that or tiles that have a rougher finish. (you could try sanding your tiles for better grip too with a heavy grit sand paper) If you 27 gal long is like mine (36"x12"x15", I have 4 ) then you can buy 3 pieces of tile/slate that measure 12"x12" and they will fit very snug, but make sure to make some form of handles attached to the underside and coming out the edges so you can still get the tiles/slate out once they are placed.

I dunno about the vibrating dish, I think it may be a waste of $$, but you can try it I guess and make sure that if its garbage you can bring it back!!

yea I use reptile carpet in all my leo tanks, works great and is a one time purchase like tiles, plus it's softer and very grippy.
