Behavior???

i got my ballpython last october. shes eating great and pooping fine. before shes just a boring snake always in the hide and not doing much. its been a week that shes tearing the cage apart. actually reaarranging the hide and the waterbowl. shes about 4 ft plus. it seems she wants to burrow. is this a normal behavior????

Is there a chance that she might have mites? Is she rubbing up against everything?

Sorry, I'm new to boids (used to colubrids) so I'm not too sure what that could mean, but I didn't want to leave the question unasked.

One thing I have learned about my snakes though, is to listen to them. How long as she been doing this? Did it just start completely out of the blue?

I'd say she's just horny! Is there any males (BP's) in the house?
