paranoid snake??
I have had Thor for a little over 3 weeks now. I did not handle him for the first week i had him. He has eaten every week, this week he moved up to adult mice w/ no problem (except he missed on the first attempt and bit himself, no damage). I give him 2 days rest after he eats before i handle him.
enough background info, heres the question. Last week he was moving around the cage just fine and let me handle him with no problem. However, this week (even before i fed him) he seems to be less comfortable when i hold him, suddenly stops in his tank when he sees me moving in my room(he will stay completely still for a few minutes), and just appears very cautious.
What could be the reason for this? Could he be acting this way because of stress, or since it is getting close to the time he should shed(he has not shed yet in my possession and he was playing in his water bowl a few days ago)so he is acting different. Just worried. any advice or info would help. Thanks
