This is odd....

I have a male patternless adn a female high yellow leopard gecko in a 20 gallon aquarium with a two rock hides on the left and right sides, a humid hide in the center and a long papaer towel tube in the front.

What happend was they both shedded on the same day, I find that odd, anyone else have there leopards do this?

And it doesn't count if you have over a hundred, I mean if you keep 1 or 3 in the same cage...

All four of mine always shed at the same time. They are kept in the same cage together.

I find shedding happens in tune with the moon. Most of my geckos shed within a day or two of the full moon ( Nov 26, today). Most of the others shed around the new moon. The few oddballs that don't follow the pattern march to a different drummer, I guess.
I've also noticed the same pattern with egg laying.

I never thought of that Hilde! Now I'm gonna keep an eye on the moon cycles, and see if mine shed like that! Thanks!

Very strange!

Most of my leos seem to be the 'march to a different drummer' type. They shed all over the place. I only have two females housed together so i'm not sure what their shed pattern is like compared to each other... i'll definately keep an eye out for it now though!
