Cool Heterozygous?

I am new to breeding ball pythons can anyone tell me what 60%
heterozygous means

If an animal is 60% het for something, it means that there is a 60% chance that the animal carries the recessive trait in question (in this case albinism).

("het" is short for heterozygous)

It would be 50% or 66% possible het. Not 60%.

Tim, so that 73.6% het for spider that I bought is a fake!!!!!

LOL... no Mykee, it's real. Spiders can pass either 32.4%, 73.6% or 98.2% possible hets. Didn't you know that?

Jon, no problem, man. It can be a bit tricky to understand at first but once you get the basics, the rest will come pretty easily.
