Beauty snakes
Hi everyone, well I have a question for everyone I know Taiwanese’s blue beauties are popular snakes but why do I never see anything about Chinese Beauties (Elaphe taeniur). From what I have seen they are very similar except yellow instead of blue, and today I saw a pic of a Hypo Beauty snake (Chinese) that was Stunning. Is anyone out there dealing with Chinese beauties more specifically hypo’s ?

I'm trying my best to get my hands on Chinese, as well as other locality beauty snakes (Yunnans, for example), but thus far with no success. I'm looking at having some imported as soon as I have a separate HOUSE to quarantine snakes in. They just don't seem to be available in Canada.

It is on an importer's list that I was going over when I came across the pictures of an amazing hypo, also an albino and a beautiful Anerythristic. I wasn’t interested in beauties until I saw that hypo.

I sent you the e-mail, his is down, so I have no URL to give sorry.
As for the beauties I can't believe nobody is dealing with anything but blue beauties, I like the yellow on the normal Chinese beauties, the morphs in the species are just a bonus.

Taiwans and chinese and blues and cave dwelling ratsnakes are all being "done" in Canada.
Chinese aren't real popular as beauties b/c they are smaller than most taeniura.
I believe only Kathy love is really working with hypo chinese, they were only proven this year so I don't think anyone in Canada has them.

We have baby Canadian c.b Taiwans currently for sale (the largest, tamest and most pretty of the beauties), and Steve Chandler is working with Albino and het albino chinese beauties, for some year in the future.
I hope to trade something to him sometime for those snakes - beauty snakes are TRES COOL BRO!
Taiwans and Vietnamese Blues are different snakes - and too confuse matters more, the blue ones aren't really from Vietnam.
