I am just curious about what Hots are legal in BC? I am not interested in owning one or having one near me, but I am curious about the legalities I have had a few people ask me about various animals, and I have seen some online for sale, so I am very curious. Thanks in advance! I appreciate it!
The by-laws are different from municipality to municipality, however as far as provincial by-laws go all vipers and pit vipers are illegal to owns unless you have a permit for them. There is no provincial law against elapids yet. But check with your local by-law to see if they have an all venomous ban in your area.

Actually having delt with the province of British Columbia in the past around this issue, pitvipers and vipers are legal there, if you can prove they were captive born in B.C. . It is illegal to import them into the province.
