Yours is a Blair's phase Tim. Nice snake either way. Not many seem to be working with the underappreciated Alterna phase as they lack most of the red/orange parts which many love GB kings for.

Hmmm... I did not know that. So is there a different scientific name for the blairs?

No no. Sorry didn't mean to confuse you. The Latin name is the same but there are two phases. The Alterna Phase being the dark, reduced red ones and the Blair's phase being the typical ones which look like yours.

I don't know why there would be such a lack of interest in the Alterna phase, I think they are gorgeous. Don't get me wrong I like the Blair's too but the Alterna's have to be my favourite.
Nice Blair's Tim. Ken Taylor had some gorgeous babies this year (before he passed) they had the widest bands I've ever seen! I was going to grab a pair but I fell in love with a pair of pueblans which were freakin' huge(Unfortunately the male 'slitthered the coop' and was never found ).

I just got 1.1 new babies on a trade. They're not feeding on their own yet, so they're not for sale at this time. I may bring them out to the show on the 12rd if they're feeding. I don't remember whether this is the male or female, but the other one is identical except even less orange and a little speckling on the back of the neck.
