EXOTIC FISH:
The best option is the "Notforyou Local Species", this large well known species is mostly for the beginner that start in this type of python. Very calm and not aggressive at all, in most cases eats right out of your hand, a total trust worthy Green Tree Python. Very few people have it let alone can breed it and yet there is alot of demand for them.
LOL.......joking.
Actually from my own experience most Green Tree Pythons are agressive, I only have Arus, Biaks and Sorongs....during the day most are calm, but night time they are different animals altogether. But I have seen very calm ones as well and even keepers holding them open handed, I am not one of them, lol.
First thing get CB babies and like most snakes with regular handling sessions you can almost calm and tame any snake "almost".
I do notice Sorongs are more calm, at least the ones in my collection are.
Cya...

Non aggressive chondros. At night, they're pretty much all aggressive. During the day its really a tossup. Arus tend to be known as the tamest, and biaks the most aggressive, but there are opposites in each locality type. Of my 11 chondros, only three have any real aggressive streaks. Three of them I oftentimes drape around my neck while at the computer. If you really want a non aggressive chondro, I'd recommend buying a laid back yearling that appeals to you.

you've got about a 50/50 chance of a "tame" condro. up until a year of age you should also not bother him as much as possible. only to feed and clean.

Try a Sorong or an Aru. I have a sweet little female Manokwari as well...day or night, but they're harder to find......stay away from Biaks until you're more experienced.

Every chondro is different. I wouldn't try to pic a specific local if you want a calm one and you are not looking for a specific look. I would just look at the temperment of many different chondros until you find one that suits your wants. I will say that most if not all chondros have an extremely strong feeding response. But, other than that, you can't really determine the aggression of one of these snakes by picking a specific local. For example, I have an abult biak(Many people say that biaks are all very aggressive and "mean") who is a real sweetheart..........until feeding time!
