my female just laid her second clutch of eggs today, and she is getting very thin for only 2 clutches I was wondering if I left the eggs in with her would she not produce anymore? the eggs are in perlite over the uth and are at a temperature which they will hatch at so they would be ok to leave in.
They lay however many they will lay for the season. There is no way to prevent her from laying more. If you are concerned about her weight, be sure to add some silkies or butterworms to her diet as often as possible,a few waxies per week and gut load your crickets and mealies with plenty of good stuff like carrots. Make sure she has a dish of calcium at all times as well.
