Please Help I Dont Know Whats Wrong

This is my golden geckos nose. Its between the eyes and notstrils. I dont know what it is but its like a crater and im worried. He seems very very lathargic and usually he runs when I try to pick him up. He is in a 20 gallon tanke with a White Lined Gecko. I have never seen them fight so I am not sure if its a bite. The area isnt pussy or wet but it looks like it has rotted into a hole. Does anyone know what this is please help?

seperate them immediatly (sp), removing the non-injured animal to a different enclosure. treat wound with neosporine.

msubigdawg:
my thoughts are either an abcess (reptile dont form liquid pus...looks like dry cottage cheese) or possible a tumor...how old is the gecko?
You should take it to your vet and have him/her swab it & he can tell what it might be under the microscope...if its an abcess the nyour gecko will need antibiotics before it goes septic....THIS IS VERY SERIOUS and steps need to be taken ASAP
