I'm not sure if the snakes like the asthetics of the cages we have them in, I think the looks are more for us then for the snakes, but who knows maybe they like having flora mulch instead of paper towel or news paper.
I'd love to have some real bushes in there but neither my partner nor I are much of a green thumb.

I dunno about what my snakes prefer but they seem to be healthier, more active and much readier to feed on paper towel.

to be honest, I haven't tried paper towel, though maybe we might start using it in the feeding tank (we normally have astroturf in there)
