Cuviers dwarf caiman

I have a caiman that looks exactly like a cuviers dwarf caiman but just one thing stumps me. Are there bellies armored when they are babies because mine is not armored but just looks like a normal caiman/alligator stomach.

This is a pic of a Dwarf off of Mason's and Adam's sight.
What was the name the animal was sold under?
Also, check Colin's page on Paleosuchus. http://crocodilian.com/paleosuchus/

The guy got it on a trade but I am 99.99 % sure it is a cuviers dwarf because it has a little algae on its legs and back, has a reddish orange head and is heavily armored on its neck
