I read in a care book I picked up that a shed cycle typically takes somewhere between 7 and 10 days. My little guy has only shed once since I've had him and he took a week. As I understand it the key is to make sure that the temps and humidity are in proper conjunction to help the snake shed more easily. Humidity should be a bit higher than normal. I think if you average what people suggest on here it's between 65-85%. I've also read that you shouldn't be surprised if the snake soaks to loosten up its skin.
