What are the chances of a duck egg that was abandoned after being laid on a lawn being fertile?

not very good, if the mother abandoned it, she did it for a reason. You could always candle it, and check it out, or find a rehabilitation center.

Pry the key off and see if it is stuck. If it is then un-stick it
