Imported Ball Pythons

I'm pretty new to the Ball Python breeding scene and was wondering about importing Ball Python morphs. How do breeders get them? Do people call them up and tell them about it? Not sure if there is a site or something but I would like to know.

Thanks, David

Connections, connections and more connections. Not to mention lots and lots of money. From my understanding, it's not something a basement breeder can get into with their limited resources.

Good luck "finding" one. Like Mykee said, "Connections, connections and more connections."

The biggest dealers in the US already have the snake hunters looking for morphs. When they are found they are sent directly to these dealers. Look at the first spider for example.
Cheers,

Most of the rarities discovered in Africa last year went to Europe and Japan, from what I understand.

Wild caught or CH Ball Pythons that look different, surely aren't just being sold at the same price as anything else out of Africa. They are usually more expensive than buying one from a breeder (for known morphs), or at least too expensive for an import.
