Kingsnake Brumation in different species/subspecies

Is there any species/subspecies of kingsnake that doesn't require really cool temps during it's brumation period, or a species that doesnt require brumating at all for breeding? I was just curious, because most of the caresheets I've found online so far are rather generalized.
I was wondering because I was vaguely pondering a kingsnake breeding project, but I live in an apartment, so it would be pretty difficult for me to get temps down in the 50s(about where most of the caresheets were suggesting, tell me if they were wrong!) without a garage or something, or freezing myself or my other snakes. lol...

The true Desert Mountain species require cooler burmation temps than say Cal-Kings etc. & it is more important for the males too be cooler for them to have viable sperm. Cal-Kings have been bred successfully with no burmation as well whereas I don't think anyone has gotten Mtn Kings to without burmation. The care sheets were right BTW Remember that you are simulating their natural enviroment which is why the Mtn Kings etc. that come from where it gets colder need the lower temps. Good Luck Mark

I'm with Mark. Kings from warmer areas, like easterns, south floridas don't really need brumation periods.

Awesome, thanks for the info guys :-). I wanted to make sure of all of that well in advance. I mean, it kindof made sense, but then I don't live in california, and VA gets pretty cold (within eastern range) so I just wasn't sure!
