Reluctant Eater

Is it normal for an Albino Prairie King to go off it's food? Some times my king eats, sometimes he takes the food right from my hand and sometimes he's afraid of the food. I thought king snakes were supposed to be voracious eaters. I've tried both rats and mice.

He looks like a really nice snake. How often do you feed him?

I am also having trouble getting my King to eat (he's a Cali king). He was eating f/t fuzzies and has refused everything from f/t fuzzies to live pinkies. Seams to be afraid of live mice and totally ignores f/t or stunned/fresh killed. I offer once or twice a week but it's been almost two months.

I'm thinking that it's just the time of year...but who knows?
