question about housing together

i currently have a 2 feet female trig and i was planning to get a male trig. but the only ones i could find were about a foot long to 14". is it safe to house them together in thesame enclosure? or should i just try to find one about thesame size as she is?

I woulden't because the bigger one could eat or harm the smaller one.
