ATB Breeding Age

How old should a female ATB be before you try to breed her? Is it the same for a male?

One more question which is more nutritious - F/T Adult mice or F/T Rat pups?

Rat pups are beter... not too sure on the age thing though!!!!

Female...4-10 years old...I know that's a huge range...but they are weird that way. Size is most important...5 1/2 feet or so and pretty thick...8 months is a long time and some fast the whole time...most will continue eating for most of the time though...but either way...that long gestation takes a toll and they need a long recovery time too before breeding again. I usually shoot for every other year. Males will breed fairly small. I've had 1 male breed under 2 years old.
