From my understanding (and don't take this as gospel) envenomations from the eyelash are often successfully treated with Cro-Fab (rattlesnake antivenin). They do have a hemotoxic venom that like all other hemotoxins produced cellular and tissue damage. The captive care of these animals I'm not %100 on as I am still looking to obtain some, but from what I know high humidity, and they don't eat much. Check out
www.venomousreptiles.org there should be some info there, and there are some highly skilled people on the site. Not that there aren't here, but that site specializes in hots. All the best from Canada!
