Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced snake lists?
Is there any sort of list in existence that categorizes different species in regards to captive care? I'm looking for a *Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Super Advanced* type thing.
I'm just trying to satisfy my own curiosity.

I am not sure of any designated list of sorts, but just generally know-how from other herpers. As you know, many folks start off with snakes and other herps that are to much for beginners to start with, then there are those extremely knowledgable folks with a lot of info on keeping even the hardest to maintain species.

I would think..Beginner--Ball python,Corns
Intermediate--BCI,Brazilian boas
Advanced--Amazons, Emerals Bloods, white-lippeds
Super advanced--Burms,Retics
Then there would be the Venomous snakes

Ya thats the reason...they get big....I was wondering about where to put Burms and Retics but I put them in SAdvanced because most people could have a hard time with their size too

there's thousands of snakes... be hard to put them all in catagories
also there's the issue of hots. some hots are easier to take care of then say a rock python but yet are more dangerous because of their bite.

easiest-corn, CB ball python
intermediate
large snakes (bci-bcc) and extreme high humidity snakes brazillian rainbow etc...etc...
Advanced--"giant" breed snakes, rectics, anaconda's, burmese, etc.....etc....
Super advanced- hots
IMHO everyone is probably going to have it listed a diff way, that is just how I see it, you could also go by how agresive a breed is..
