What i got at the november expo.

these two snakes are BEAUTIFUL garter snakes. just amazing. these were bred by jonathan crowe. they are fat and healthy. they are awesome animals.

CB. Red-sided Garter Snake.

CB. Wondering Garter Snake.

This next animal is from the reptile store. great animal, eating well. he is in shed right now. so it had a "bit" of a temper when i took it out for a quick pic. i hope you like it. This is my first pituophis.

CB. Northern Pine Snake

Let me know what you think!

Take care

Nice garter snakes. That first one is very pretty, and the wanderer is much different than what I am used to seeing.

Is the northern pine male or female?

We have 1.2 cooling - but a friend may be aquiring a male to go with our second female which he also may be getting. Ours are very tame - I think you saw Timber when you were here, he is very close to 7'.

I got one of Jonathans Wandering Garters too. I love the subtle colours and the charcoal grey bellies on them. Eats like a pig too, but it's hard to believe they're 18 months old.

i love it man. so awsome. i love when they hiss. that kinda threw me off once when i was looking for bullsnakes and i grabbed one and it sounded so much like a rattle snake. and i was in rattle snake country. hehe. great experience.

Thumbs up

those snakes are great. has the pine tagged you yet? or does he just put on that show? also do you know anyone in bc who breeds any species of garters. ive always wanted a garter or two or three for my collection. after all, they are the reptile that sparked my interrest in the hobby when i was just a young'n.

go to the SCALES sping count. i will most likely bring a whole bunch of garters with now. lol. and the pine snake does strike, BUT, it hasn't got me. i find "pits" strike so slow. quite easy to dodge them.
