Thumbs up JKReptiles

I just wanted to post that I bought my ball from Jamie and Kory(sp?), and am so happy with him. All of my questions have been answered to the best of their knowledge making sure I know what they are talking about.
Very happy with the deal, beautiful ball, smart and happy sellers.... two thumbs up.

The second thing I was going to ask is If anyone has noticed their snake falling off of hides and what not in their cages. My ball was on his rock hide and moved over to one other hide and back again ( a U shape) then noticed me and slipped and fell about 3 inches. My only concern is that the rock hide is natural.. I boiled and baked some flat rocks to create a hide, its not tooo sharp but is still a natural rock.

Can he get hurt on this hide--scratching, moving on the sharpness of it etc.
Should I be worried about my none arboreal snake climbing around on the various vines and higher hides he has?

P.S. I will post pics of both my snake and his aquarium within the next week.

Thanks guys for the king words, we do our best to make things easy and answer questions. With the ball trying to climb around as long as he is not falling a far distance I wouldn't worry about him to much. If given something to climb on they will probably climb on it and occasionally fall off. 3-6 inches isn't too bad of a fall...even our big boas take a tumble climbing around in their cage. Glad everything is doing good and we can't wait to see some pictures

Yeah man. I bought my ball off them too. Such a cute little guy. But yeah my ball falls sometimes but it's not a big deal. They are clumsy sometimes. But yeah great seller. My ball doesn't like eating though. HE prefers cuddling with the fuzzies and taking little naps. Even after about an hour.

Actually Jerome, I picked out a name a while ago. His name is Slang... Slang is the word for snake in Africanns which is the language used by some in west/central africa where ball pythons originated.

I like the name, and got the idea to use their original areas language from my friend. My friend bought a 99% wolf from a breeder (as a pup) and named it Mahagan(sp?) which is cree for wolf( actually pronounced Mah-Hay-Kan). Interesting.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who names their animals what they are. We have a russian naming scheme and one of the snakes we have is Zameya which is russian for snake.

Yes Lisa, I think it is a pretty cool way to name your snake... it gives it some background.. and in most cases sounds cool and is different.

i would get rid of the natural rocks if they are stacked to make a hide. it could collapse and crush your herp.

about the arboreal thing mine does that too and falls every five minutes, its not a big thing to worry about, but i obses over it, and always chec her for broken ribs when i take her out, other than that id say your snake is normal.

My BP really seems clumsy now and then. He was climbing his branch one time and fell off like he was drunk or something lol. I guess that graceful is not a word to describe him . Beautiful is a good description though.
